Content
The laboratory safety, chemicals-storage, purity, basic chemical calculations, common buffers preparation instructions. Weighting and Scales: mechanical scales, digital scales, solid and liquid chemicals weighting. Volume and admeasurements determination: laboratory glass volume measurement, pipeting and various digital pipetes. Common laboratory equipment: thermostats, water baths, shakers etc. Electromigration techniques: agarose and polyarylamide gel electrophoresis, gel sekvenation, isoelectric focusation. Potentiometry: equipment calibration, buffers, pH-measurement, conductivity measurement, oximetry. Centrifugation and sedimentation: sedimentation, flotation, coagulation, filtration and microfiltration. Spectrophotometry: colorimetry, UV-VIS spectrometry, AAS, calibration curves. Drying and cooling: basic principles, solids drying, liquid and gas chemicals, cooling mixtures. Distillation: evaporization, normal and vacuum distillation. Chromatography: basic principles, distribution according to experimental arrangement and type of stacionary phase. Excursion in the laboratory of Molecular and Cell biology.
